On July 31, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a home in Lake Charles in reference to a battery.
During further investigation, deputies discovered during a verbal altercation between Timothy L. Pinkley, 32, 806 Sundale Drive, Lake Charles, and the victim, Pinkley struck the victim numerous times in the face, causing severe swelling, bruising and possible facial fractures.
The victim was treated at a local hospital for his injuries.
Pinkley was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correction Center and charged with 2nd degree battery and has been released on a $3,000 bond set by Judge Wilford Carter.
CPSO Deputy Patrick Smith was the arresting deputy.
