SHERIFF TONY MANCUSO AND LHSAA TO HOST ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT AND GOLF BALL HELICOPTER DROP

Lake Charles –

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso and the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) will host their annual golf tournament on Friday, April 24, at Frasch Park Golf Course in Sulphur, with tee-off beginning at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

All proceeds of the tournament will go to support LHSAA programs for female athletes in our state high schools and for recognition programs for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies.

The tournament is a four-person scramble with an entry fee of $420.00 per team which includes (1) mulligan per player, (1) entry in the Golf Ball Drop per player, and range balls prior to the round.  Additional mulligans can be purchased on the day of the event; $20 per team will give each player a second mulligan.  Lunch will be served and refreshments will be available on the course.  There will also be two helicopter golf ball drops beginning at 12:00 p.m., providing an innovative option to help raise funds.  Tickets to the first Golf Ball Drop are $5 per golf ball and may be purchased in advance or the morning of the tournament.  The second Golf Ball Drop will be for individuals who participated in the tournament.  A grand prize of $250 per drop will be awarded to the participant whose golf ball ends up closest to the hole, or if there is a hole in one during the drop.

Entry deadline is Monday, April 20.  Checks should be made payable to TONY MANCUSO SPECIAL EVENTS.   Please send payment along with a complete entry form to:
