CPSO ARRESTS MOLO MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT FOR THREAT

           On Thursday, May 11, at approximately 2:30 p.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified in reference to a threat made by a student at Molo Middle School.

            During the initial investigation, deputies learned the 14 year old was threatening other students in the presence of school personnel and the CPSO School Resource Officer.  The student was questioned by detectives and confirmed the allegations.  He was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with terrorizing.

            CPSO Detective Mika Miguez is the lead investigator on this case.  The Calcasieu Parish School Board assisted CPSO with the investigation.  

 

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
